T-shirt orders are due on Tuesday, December 11th. Send your order in with your child or drop it by the office. Sweatshirts and Tote bags are also available. GIFT WRAP FUNDRAISER

An enormous THANK YOU goes to Kate MacGregor and Lisa Sussman for all their efforts on this major fundraiser. A thank you, also, to Joyce Gooden for her help during the distribution phase. This fundraiser made $3,208.74 for the Wildwood Community. These profits help to fund the Teacher/Staff Grants and the end-of-the-year Teacher Stipends. This fundraiser would not be possible without the help of the faculty and staff at Wildwood. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR SCHOOL.

Book Fair

The Book Fair was a Huge Success!! Thanks so much to all who participated in the Wildwood Scholastic Book Fair last week. It was a huge success with total book sales of $7,394.00!!! Scholastic will give 30% of that directly back to Wildwood! We will also be getting customer reward points and money for increasing our sales from last year! Happy reading everyone!

Book Fair

The Book Fair is coming! The Book Fair is coming! That's right readers, the Annual Wildwood Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon. November 6th -9th (all day, during school hours); Special Family Nights on Wed. November 7th and Thurs. November 8th from 6-8pm. Come buy a book for your child or your child's teacher. All classes will have a chance to go at a scheduled time slot. Get your holiday shopping done early! It's a Wrap! Gift Wrap Sale

The orders are in, the totals have been tallied, and the pizza party winners for the Wildwood PTO Gift Wrap Sale are Mr. Cahall's 6th grade class, and Ms. Jag's 3rd grade class. Mr. Cahall's class deserves special recognition not only for this year's highest sales, but also for the highest percent participation that we've ever seen in this sale. Great teamwork!

READ-A-THON PARTICIPANTS HONORED

On Friday, students participating in the Summer Read-a-thon gathered to celebrate their achievements. Elaine Donohue and Liz Rosenberry gathered the group in the library to award prizes and announce the results. More than 100 students participated with many students reaching or surpassing the personal reading goals they set for themselves. Overall, the group read nearly 1,500 books and raised more than $5,000 for new books for the Wildwood library. A great big THANK YOU to these students and to their families who encouraged them and supported their reading. The following students were recognized for their high achievement in their grade level:

Update: Summer Read-a-thon

The Summer Read-a-thon has raised $4,451.28 and counting! Thank you to Liz Rosenberry for your hardwork in organizing this event. Good Job to all of you Wildwood readers!

Amazing Readers at Wildwood

Those participating in the Read-a-thon sure read an amazing amount over the summer! They have also done a terrific job raising funds for their school library. So far they have raised $3,190.00—and still counting! If you have not already done so, please turn in your pledge money and book lists to your child’s classroom teacher, or drop them off with Ms. Champoux in the office. We will be handing out prizes to all who turn in pledge money by Friday Sept. 14. Participants will celebrate their accomplishments in the school library on Friday Sept. 21 at 2pm. If you did not get a chance to participate, but would like to contribute to help out the library, checks can be made payable to Wildwood PTO. If you have any questions contact lrosenberry@verizon.net.
