$1000 Awarded! (but Arch Cancelled)

Bonus Bucks program awards PTO $1,000 for Principal’s Challenge; Arch raising is CANCELLED.

Dear Wildwood community,

I am proud to announce that the Bonus Bucks program has awarded the PTO $1,000 for the Principal’s Challenge. However, due to logistical issues at the Stop and Shop Site, the formal arch-raising was cancelled. It is ironic how the idea of this sculpture about homelessness has won the contest, but ended up without a home. We are all disappointed, but happily we got the money, and there is a host of artistic opportunities here in school and within the town.

I want to thank Stop and Shop, the PTO, and all the families who supported the Food Drive. This idea alone has brought 1000 pounds of food in to the Amherst Survival Center and $1,000 to our PTO.
