Geography Bee

Wildwood's Geography Bee will be held in the school gymnasium on Wednesday, January 9, beginning at 9:30. Students in grades 3-6, as well as families and friends of the finalists, will be the audience for this event. Having sponsored the school level Bee of this National Geographic Society event for the past 13 years, we continue to be impressed, both by the level of geographic knowledge demonstrated, as well as the enthusiastic response of the audience.
All students in grades 4 through 6 participated in preliminary classroom rounds, which are an instructional opportunity in every classroom. Fifty-one semi-finalists participated in a run-off round held just before vacation, and the following finalists will be going on to the school level Bee:
