Sponsored by Our Healthy Children Workshop Series – As parents embark on the journey of family life, they naturally hope to be ready for what comes and to meet every situation with equanimity, but if they do not have a good road map, they can become confused or lost at times. The Music Man

A dozen free tickets to "The Music Man", produced by Amherst Leisure Services Community Theater (ALSCT), will be offered to Wildwood students as part of ALSCT’s reading incentive program. The performance will be held on Friday, January 18th at Bowker Auditorium at UMass.

To be eligible to win a free ticket, students can read a book of their choice and fill out an entry form in the WW Library. On December 12th, a dozen entries will be randomly chosen and those students will receive a voucher for a free ticket. Each student must be accompanied to the musical by an adult who buys a ticket. Vouchers must be redeemed at the LSSE office at the Bangs Community Center by January 10th.

First In-House Event of the Year:

Marge Bruchac, storyteller along with musician, spouse, Justin Kennick, of the Abenaki Native American Indian people, will perform stories and music for Wildwood School funded by the Wildwood PTO. "Giving Thanks" will be Monday, December 17th in the gymnasium. A sampling of stories of thanksgiving throughout the year not just one day, some marked by the full moon, will be performed.

Today, Monday, December 3rd... All Amherst-Pelham Schools are CLOSED due to severe weather. IT'S A SNOW DAY... SLEEP LATE, HAVE SOME HOT COCOA and CURL UP WITH A GOOD BOOK (most of us will probably go insanely, crazy trying to keep our kids occupied...it's all good - ENJOY!)
